Buffalo Gap was founded in 1877 and has remained a staple of true country livin'. Pack your bags and enjoy a two night stay in a caboose and boxcar in a secluded area just outside Tuscola, Texas.

  • Come be passengers for a day and enjoy a private tour of Baird’s historic 114-year-old passenger depot. Come learn about the history of the Texas & Pacific Railway and the excitement and change it brought to this area. After its doors closed for the final time in 1977, the city later opted for a restoration which was completed in 2007. It now serves as a museum for the town.

  • Come be passengers for a day and enjoy a private tour of the Martin & Frances Lehnis Railroad Museum. Come learn about the history of the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway and the excitement and change it brought to this area. Completed in 2001, the Lehnis family legacy lives on through this eclectic collection of railroad memorabilia. It now serves as the official visitor center of Brownwood, Texas.

Come learn about the history of the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway and the excitement and change it brought to this area. Completed in 1912, the Slaton Harvey House continues to thrive alongside railroad mainlines. In 2024 it was designated as Texas Historical Commission’s 40th state historic site. Today it continues to serve as its original purpose, accommodating travelers to their next destination.
